"Just a Horse"

Western horses

Often times, people think we’re crazy for loving horses. They don’t understand it... why would someone do that?

Why would someone spend just as much on board as they do on rent?

Why would someone spend so much time and energy on this “hobby”?

Why would someone have two cars, just so they can tow a trailer twice a year?

Why do we do it?

The answer is really quite simple.

We love it.

You see, what they don’t understand, is that it isn’t “just a horse”.

They are out confidants, friends, favorite place to be on a Saturday morning.

And, in most cases, they are our life partners.

In the sense that we devote our lives to them, so they can live full and happy lives with us.

And when their time here is done, we will have done everything we could to give them the life that they deserved.

Which has to be nothing less than perfect.
