Winter Style

We all know winter as a cold time of year. I know that during this time, all I want to do is curl up beside our fireplace because I can’t persuade myself to brave the elements. When I do work up the courage, I pile myself in so many layers that I can hardly move. If you feel at loss on ways to stay warm without the burden of layers, like me, take a look at some ideas below:

  1. Insulated boots. Our toes and hand our the first things to get cold. Keep your toes warm while you work in insulated boots!
  2. Cowboy scarf. There are many cute and stylish cowboy scarves to wear that keep the cold away. Cowboy scarves are my go-to to keep the wind from going down my shirt and chilling me to the bones!
  3. Vest. Vests are one of my favorite winter wears! It gives you the freedom to move while you work, without exposing you to the cold.
  4. Turtlenecks. By wearing turtlenecks, you have more independence to work by not being held back by burdening layers. They are the perfect shirt to throw on when you do not or cannot wear a scarf.
  5. Wide Headbands. These are perfect to wear with or without hats. They are used to keep stray hairs at bay while protecting your ears from the nasty nip of cold air!
  6. Leather insulated gloves. The best way to keep working in the winter is by keeping your hands warm and protected with leather insulated gloves! By stocking from Christmas was filled with these and I could not have thought of a better gift! I use mine all the time!
  7. Chaps or chinks. If it’s raining or snowing, chinks or chaps help to keep your jeans from getting wet. We all know that bitter chill of having wet jeans on.
  8. A sherpa or thermal lined jacket. When the first sign of winter dawns, my hand always reaches for my Carhartt jacket. I could not survive a winter without my trusty thermal-lined jacket! They are the best jackets for keeping the warmth in. You can find them in all kinds of colors, styles, brands, and fabrics.
  9. Sunglasses. Protect your eyes from the sun reflecting off the bright snow by wearing sunglasses. Your eyes need protection from the sun all year round, including in the winter.
  10. Insulated Coveralls. These are the perfect item to throw over your clothes to keep you warm. You can even wear your pajamas underneath without anyone knowing! Insulated coveralls can be found in all kinds of styles, brands, and colors.
